Is your cathodic protection test due?
Cathodic protection on steel tanks and lines needs to be tested every 3 years. If yours is coming up, we're glad to help you stay in compliance. If it's not due yet, sign up below and we'll remind you.
The top tier AMPP corrosion credential, plus Cathodic Protection Specialist (CP4). Meets federal requirements for CP testers. Serving the ArkLaTex.
Every CP test includes
- Rectifier inspection and readings (impressed current systems)
- Tank, piping and flex connector potentials
- Impressed current or galvanic (sti P3) systems
- A signed report on your state's required form
- Straight answers if something fails, and how to fix it

How Cathodic Protection Works
Making the steel the cathode.
Buried steel corrodes when current leaves it. A CP system pushes protective current onto the structure instead, so the anodes corrode and the steel stays whole.
- The rectifier converts AC power to DC.
- Current flows from the anodes through the soil to the steel.
- The test station and reference cell let us measure whether the steel is protected.
The same principle protects pipelines, water tanks and fuel tanks. Our job is proving it works and fixing it when it doesn't.
